AC Milan have officially completed the signing of Santiago Gimenez from Feyenoord, securing one of Europe’s most exciting young strikers. The Mexican international is set to arrive in Italy today for his medical examinations before putting pen to paper on a contract that will keep him at the club until June 2029.
According to Calciomercato, Milan convinced Feyenoord with an offer worth €35 million, including bonuses and a percentage of any future resale for the Argentine-born forward. Gimenez will earn €2.5 million net per season with the Rossoneri.
The 22-year-old is expected to be at San Siro on Sunday to watch Milan’s highly anticipated derby against Inter.
What Gimenez Brings to AC Milan
Gimenez has been a revelation in European football, impressing with his goal-scoring ability, movement, and versatility. Since joining Feyenoord in 2022, he has:
✅ Scored 41 goals in 73 appearances across all competitions
✅ Won the Eredivisie title in the 2022/23 season
✅ Became a key player for the Mexican national team
His ability to play as a central striker or in a two-man attack makes him an excellent fit for Milan’s tactical setup under Sergio Conceição, who is set to take over as head coach.

The former Atlético Madrid and Benfica star is currently at Chelsea, but Milan are exploring a loan deal to bring him to Serie A.
However, Milan face competition from Aston Villa, who have also expressed interest in the talented forward. Villa, led by sporting director Monchi, had initially targeted Marcus Rashford, but following Jhon Duran’s sale to Al-Nassr, they are now keeping a close eye on Félix.
