Renowned Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported that Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is on the verge of completing the transfer of Georgian star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Napoli.
Romano revealed on his X (formerly Twitter) account that PSG has planned a medical examination for Kvaratskhelia this week as part of the final steps to seal the deal.
Agreement Finalized
According to Romano, PSG’s sporting director Luis Campos successfully reached a verbal agreement with Napoli on Monday. The formal agreement was signed on Tuesday between PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis.
Napoli Begin Search for Replacement
As Kvaratskhelia prepares to depart, Napoli has already begun intensifying efforts to find a suitable replacement for the Georgian winger, who has been one of the standout performers for the club in recent seasons.
Kvaratskhelia’s move to PSG marks a significant shift for both clubs, with the Parisians bolstering their attacking options and Napoli facing the challenge of rebuilding after losing one of their key players.
